The Orthodontic Clinic and its related entities (collectively referred to as “The Orthodontic Clinic”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respect the importance of safeguarding the personal data of individuals who interact with us (“you” or “your”), including any minor for whom you act on behalf. This Privacy Notice outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) of Singapore.

Personal Data refers to any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which The Orthodontic Clinic has or is likely to have access. This may include, but is not limited to: your name, date of birth, gender, contact number, residential address, email address, and payment details.

By interacting with us, submitting information to us, or signing up for any products or services we offer, you agree and consent to us collecting, using, and disclosing your Personal Data in accordance with this Notice. If you provide Personal Data relating to other individuals (e.g. your child, dependent, spouse, parent, or employee), you represent and warrant that you have obtained their consent for such disclosure, and you agree to indemnify us for any claims arising from the lack of such consent.

3. How We Collect Personal Data

We may collect your Personal Data in several ways, including:

  • When you visit or receive treatment at our clinics
  • Through online platforms (including our website and social media channels)
  • When you make enquiries, bookings, or provide feedback
  • When you participate in events, surveys, or market research
  • Via CCTV or photography at our premises
  • If you apply for a job with us

4. Refusing or Withdrawing Consent
Providing your Personal Data is voluntary. However, refusal or withdrawal of consent may limit our ability to:

  • Inform you about future promotions or services
  • Maintain your patient record or continuity of care

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (see Section 7).

Note: We may require proof of identity to process your request, and a reasonable administrative fee may apply. Please allow up to 30 days for changes to take effect.

8. Retention
We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Thereafter, we will securely delete or anonymise your data.

9. Updates to this Notice
This Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Your continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of any changes.

This Privacy Notice is governed by the laws of Singapore.
