Dr Calista Ho graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Dental Medicine
(DMD) degree in 2016. She excelled academically and was the recipient of the Eric Williams Prize in
Prosthodontics during the course of her study.
Dr Ho is a registered general dental practitioner in both Singapore and Australia. Prior to joining the
Orthodontic Clinic team, Dr Ho had treated a wide range of patients with varying clinical needs and
complexity in both metropolitan and rural Western Australia and Singapore.
She understands that a visit to the dentist can be daunting for some individuals, and thus dedicates
herself towards providing all patients with a comfortable and pleasant dental experience with her
gentle demeanour. She finds her career to be most rewarding when she sees a positive change in
her patient’s perception towards dentistry, especially the ones who were previously dentally
adverse or anxious.
Dr Ho enjoys the many facets of dentistry, with a particular interest in preventative dentistry. She
abides by the principle that “prevention is better than cure”, and you will often find her spending
time educating and empowering patients in techniques to improve their oral hygiene so as to
prevent future dental diseases.
In her desire to provide her patients with quality dental care, she commits herself to keeping abreast
with the latest dental techniques and knowledge through continued professional education taught
both locally and overseas.
